Long and short term education programs available through GCAP
There are scholarships available at different levels of participation through GCAP’s program. One of the requirements is a commitment of consistent training through GCAP and not currently in the industrial heat transfer field. This scholarship is only awarded for Ammonia Operator I or Boiler Operator 1 courses. If you are working for a company, your supervisor will be notified that you are applying for a scholarship. GCAP encourages any US military veterans to apply for our scholarships, and GCAP will even help job place you after completion of your certification for free.
We continually seek interns/apprentices for our 1 year and two year programs. Interns and aprentices are paid positions through GCAP. These programs requires residency in Garden City, KS and only a few will be selected every year to be part of this prestigious program.
You will need to submit a letter of request, to our scholarship committee include your current and past jobs, your education that you have received thus far, and your plans on an ammonia/boiler operator career. The board will review your letter to see if you qualify for a scholarship or internship. We look forward to hearing from you.
